a little bit about our policies

insurance

Growing Expressions Together Speech Therapy PLLC is currently in-network with CDPHP and Aetna. We are also considered a certified provider for Tricare.

We are considered an “out of network” provider for all other insurance companies. If you choose to privately pay for speech and language services you agree to pay our rate at the time of service. You will then have the option to submit documentation, called a “superbill”, to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Coverage depends on your chosen insurance plan. No two plans are the same and we always recommend that you contact your insurance company directly to determine what is covered and what exclusions may apply.

When insurance does not cover services needed, we can offer a prompt pay discounted rate for evaluation and/or therapy.

state and county based therapy programs

Early Intervention Program: Speech Therapy Services provided through the Early Intervention Program are offered in the Home/Community or via Teletherapy.

Committee On Preschool Special Education: Speech Therapy Services provided through the CPSE Program are offered in our therapy clinic or via teletherapy.

billing

Clients will receive an electronic invoice the day of service. Private pay is accepted via all major credit cards or HSA/FSA cards through our secure client portal. If your payment is not received within 15 days, a 5% fee will be applied for every week past due.

cancellations

If you need to cancel your scheduled appointment for any reason, please provide at least 24 hours notice to your Speech Language Pathologist by phone or email. If you are unable to cancel your scheduled appointment 24 hours in advance you will be charged a $50 cancellation fee. No show appointments will be charged in full. Your speech-language pathologist will go over our cancellation policy and all other policies in your initial intake paperwork should you have more questions.

“Shannon was an engaging, fun, and attentive therapist to my son with Down syndrome. She instantly connected with him at his level and he loved his sessions with her.”
